Seborrheic dermatitis
Seborrheic dermatitis usually appears as oily dandruff that adheres to the skin on a reddened surface. It is most commonly seen on the scalp, nose, eyebrow roots, beard, behind the ears, and the front chest wall, but can be seen on all skin types except the palms and soles of the feet.

Who Can Have Seborrheic Dermatitis?
Seborrhoeic dermatitis can occur in infants under 1 year of age (usually in the form of a mansion), in adolescence or in adulthood. People with seborrhoeic dermatitis are often otherwise healthy.
Why Seborrheic Dermatitis Occurs?
The exact mechanism that causes seborrheic dermatitis is not yet clearly understood, but it is thought that some yeast fungi living in the skin flora and sebum produced on the skin are related to the disease.

Is there a permanent solution for seborrheic dermatitis?
There is no permanent treatment that provides a cure for seborrheic dermatitis. When attacks occur, complaints such as itching, dandruff and rash can be treated with drug treatments. During the maintenance period, recommendations that help control attacks should be followed.
